It is well advisable that the participants proceed with applying for the visa in a timely manner to guarantee the granting of their visa in due time for the event. Moreover, it is also recommended to check the relevant Lebanese Embassy online before approaching the embassy in order to prepare all official papers needed as indicated on the website before applying for your visa.
Who requires a visa?
Required by all except the following:
(a) Nationals of Syria for unlimited stays, provided arriving directly from Syria (check with Embassy for current regulations);
(b) Nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE for stays of up to 3 months;It is, however, possible for some visitors to obtain an entry visa at Beirut International Airport or any other port of entry at the Lebanese border, providing passport holders do not possess an Israeli stamp, and they hold return or onward tickets.
(c) Transit passengers continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft provided holding onward or return documentation and not spending the night at or leaving the airport.
How long is the visa valid for?
Visitor visas are generally issued for stays of up to 3 months.
